Supply Chain Specialist

Location: Onsite in Buffalo, NY (opportunity for hybrid in East Aurora, NY). This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.

Salary: $70,000–$95,000 annually (Buffalo, NY)

What you will do

• Manage suppliers end-to-end, converting demand into purchase orders per contractual terms and hirify.global processes.
• Create sole source justifications and price analyses for DFAR compliance.
• Develop procurement strategies including demand-driven buffer management.
• Influence suppliers for better delivery commitments and communicate updates.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, non-conformances, and RTV processes.
• Coordinate with logistics, sourcing, finance, planning, and engineering for operational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree (supply chain, business, engineering, or accounting) + 3 years supply chain procurement experience OR Associate’s + 5 years.
• Experience with PO placement, negotiations, RFQ/RFP, quality assurance, parts scheduling, DDMRP.
• Knowledge of supply chain regulations and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Effective communication across organization levels and with external parties.
• Knowledge of hirify.global systems (MBS, TIPQA, PowerBI, Rapid Response).
• Access to US Export Controlled information required.

Nice to have

• Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management (APICS preferred).
• Engineering or technical background.
