Salary: $70,000–$95,000 annually (Buffalo, NY)

What you will do
- Manage suppliers end-to-end, converting demand into purchase orders per contractual terms and processes.
- Create sole source justifications and price analyses for DFAR compliance.
- Develop procurement strategies including demand-driven buffer management.
- Influence suppliers for better delivery commitments and communicate updates.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, non-conformances, and RTV processes.
- Coordinate with logistics, sourcing, finance, planning, and engineering for operational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (supply chain, business, engineering, or accounting) + 3 years supply chain procurement experience OR Associate’s + 5 years.
- Experience with PO placement, negotiations, RFQ/RFP, quality assurance, parts scheduling, DDMRP.
- Knowledge of supply chain regulations and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Effective communication across organization levels and with external parties.
- Knowledge of systems (MBS, TIPQA, PowerBI, Rapid Response).
- Access to US Export Controlled information required.
Nice to have
- Certification in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or Program Management (APICS preferred).
- Engineering or technical background.
