What you will do

  • Create, release, and manage purchase orders based on Jira requests, MRP signals, and production needs
  • Track open orders, past-due shipments, and shortages; adjust priorities as production changes
  • Identify late/at-risk shipments, execute recovery actions, coordinate partial shipments or premium freight
  • Work with suppliers, carriers, and logistics to resolve delays, missed pickups, and documentation issues
  • Communicate material status, shortages, and recovery plans to planning and operations teams
  • Monitor supplier performance and identify issues impacting on-time delivery

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of tactical buying, expediting, or supply chain operations experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong follow-up, prioritization skills, team player with sense of urgency
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, execution-driven environment

Nice to have

  • Experience supporting high-volume production
  • Proactive approach
  • ERP system knowledge
