Supply Specialist

TL;DR

Supply Specialist (Supply Chain): Managing end-to-end purchase order placement and supplier coordination for military aircraft operations with an accent on procurement compliance, demand-driven replenishment, and cross-functional issue resolution. Salary: $70,000–$95,000 Annually (Buffalo, NY)

What you will do

• Manage suppliers end-to-end, converting demand into purchase orders per contractual terms and Moog processes.
• Create sole source justifications and price analyses for DFAR compliance.
• Develop and execute procurement replenishment strategies, including demand-driven buffer management.
• Communicate with suppliers to secure delivery commitments and provide site updates.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve supply chain issues, supplier non-conformances, and RTV processes.
• Coordinate with logistics, receiving, strategic sourcing, finance, planning, and engineering for operational goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain, business, engineering, or accounting + 3 years relevant procurement experience, OR Associate degree + 5 years experience including PO placement and negotiations.
• Knowledge of procurement processes: PO placement, RFQ/RFP, quality assurance, parts scheduling, DDMRP.
• Ability to follow supply chain regulations, communicate effectively, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Access to United States Export Controlled information required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Moog systems (MBS, TIPQA, PowerBi, Rapid Response).
