What you will do

• Oversee departmental activities and lead production staff to achieve targets in accordance with company policies.
• Drive continuous and quality-related improvements within the production process.
• Review production schedules and coordinate material and manpower resources to meet business objectives.
• Resolve employee issues and promote positive relations while enforcing company policies fairly.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and optimize production processes.
• Direct efforts toward the reduction of process variation to ensure products meet quality requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or 3-5 years of experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.
• Must be able to work on-site in Libertyville, IL.
• Proven ability to manage, train, and develop employees.
• Experience making day-to-day decisions that impact product and process quality.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to multi-task in fast-paced environments.

Nice to have

• 1–2 years of experience in a supervisory role.
