TL;DR
Business Development Representative ( Events): Deepen relationships within existing client base to uncover event and MICE opportunities with an accent on account mapping, stakeholder engagement, and pipeline building. Focus on identifying seasonal triggers, articulating events value proposition, and handing off qualified leads to conversion team.
Barcelona, Spain. Must be based within commuting distance of our hubs (IRL-first, in-person 3 days a week). Relocation support available to hubs.

What you will do
- Conduct discovery conversations with existing accounts to uncover events spend and needs.
- Map stakeholders, build pipeline from existing accounts, track in Salesforce.
- Articulate Events proposition (venue sourcing, event management, MICE) to stakeholders.
- Qualify leads, handover to events team, position as full events calendar partner.
- Build multi-threaded relationships, collaborate with Account Managers.
- Report on pipeline, activity metrics, share market intelligence.
Requirements
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) to professional business standard
- Must have legal right to work in applicable location
- Experience in European and/or North American markets
- Demonstrable experience in business development, account growth, or sales in events SaaS, TMC, events agency, or hospitality.
- Hunter mentality with track record growing revenue in existing accounts.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, communication, video skills.
- Commercially minded, proficient in CRM (Salesforce), pipeline management.
Nice to have
- German or French languages.
- Understanding of MICE landscape, procurement cycles.
