MICE Team Lead

TL;DR

MICE Team Lead (Travel Events): Lead a team of 6-8 MICE specialists focusing on operational excellence and sales execution in high-volume events and group travel with an accent on skill development, process optimization, and performance metrics. Focus on mentoring juniors, handling RFPs and customer queries, and driving target achievement through structured 1:1s and training.

Location: Barcelona, Spain (hybrid, in-person 3 days/week, must be based within commuting distance of hubs); relocation support available for certain roles

What you will do

• Lead and engage a team of 6-8 MICE Specialists with weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews to drive success and deal closure.
• Develop junior talent through comprehensive onboarding programs and targeted training like role-playing.
• Establish scalable processes for handling RFPs, phone calls, and email queries efficiently.
• Set performance metrics and objectives, identifying training needs for skill development.
• Provide consultative mentorship on Perk products and event solutions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to build Events pipeline and with Builders on automation tools.

Requirements

• 2-4 years proven success in MICE, venue sourcing, or meetings & events sales
• Strong commercial drive to build a win culture and motivate team to hit KPIs
• Experience managing or mentoring junior sales/operations teams preferred
• Track record creating/improving scalable processes
• Data-driven with analytical skills for performance metrics
• Excellent knowledge of Perk MICE value prop and worldwide event destinations
• Strong communication to simplify concepts for juniors
• Solution-driven attitude, thrives in high-growth, scrappy environment
