TL;DR

SMB Account Manager (Cybersecurity): Manage customer accounts in small to mid-size businesses, drive renewals, upsells, and cross-sells with an accent on adoption and satisfaction. Focus on full sales cycle execution, whitespace identification, and account growth strategies.

Location: Hybrid-remote in Austin, TX (office 1x per week required)

Salary: $50,000 - $80,000 base per year + commissions, equity, benefits

What you will do

  • Serve as primary contact for SMB clients, collaborating with internal teams to deliver expected value.
  • Manage full contract renewal cycle from meetings to negotiation and signature, targeting ARR growth.
  • Achieve new sales growth quota through upsells, cross-sells, and whitespace opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key customers, create champions, and execute account strategies.
  • Consult on additional hirify.global solutions to increase adoption and ingestion.
  • Provide high-touch service, handle escalations, and deliver customer feedback to Product Management.

Requirements

  • 1+ years in sales development or full sales cycle experience selling to technical audiences (engineers, IT, security)
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota in individual metric-carrying roles
  • Strong technical aptitude, quick learning, and exceptional communication skills
  • Comfort with client objections, negotiations, and balancing multiple tasks in fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Light experience with sales frameworks (MEDDIC, MEDPICC, Sandler)
