TL;DR
Customer Success Manager (Cybersecurity): Own the full post-sales customer journey from onboarding through long-term success with an accent on driving adoption, value realization, and operationalizing the platform within SOC workflows. Focus on building CS processes from scratch, acting as trusted advisor to security teams, and translating customer feedback into product insights.
Location: McLean, VA (Hybrid), remote-first with occasional travel
Salary: $135,000-$165,000 base + bonus

What you will do
- Own the customer lifecycle: lead onboarding, implementation, adoption, and ongoing success to ensure fast time-to-value
- Partner directly with SOC analysts, engineers, and leaders to integrate into their workflows
- Drive platform adoption and measurable outcomes tied to security objectives
- Act as trusted advisor, aligning product to operational and strategic goals
- Identify risks, expansion opportunities, and manage account health
- Build CS function: define frameworks, success plans, health scoring, and engagement models
- Close feedback loops with Product and Engineering on customer needs
- Support technical integrations and troubleshooting
Requirements
- 3-6+ years in Customer Success, Technical Account Management, or similar in SaaS, owning end-to-end post-sales relationships
- Experience with cybersecurity products or SOC workflows, detection/response, or security operations
- Technical aptitude with APIs, integrations, and troubleshooting
- Builder mindset: experience in early-stage startups, handling ambiguity, creating processes
- Strong communication with technical and executive security stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience supporting SOC teams (SIEM, SOAR, detection engineering, threat intelligence)
- Background in high-growth startups
- Familiarity with modern security stacks
- Experience influencing product via customer feedback
