What you will do

• Ensure company-wide compliance with UK employment law and advise on disciplinary, grievance, and termination matters across UK/EU.
• Draft, review employment contracts, policies, and manage relationships with external legal and immigration counsel.
• Manage end-to-end UK Skilled Worker visas, EU work permits, tracking systems, renewals, and Home Office compliance.
• Conduct right-to-work checks, prepare SMS reports, and advise on sponsorship eligibility.
• Administer HRIS (Rippling, Deel), onboarding/offboarding, payroll, benefits, performance reviews, and employee queries.

Requirements

• 7+ years in People Ops, HR, or Global Mobility, ideally in tech/startup
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and regulatory compliance
• Proven experience managing UK Skilled Worker visas, EU work permits end-to-end
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms like Rippling or Deel
• Excellent attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information
• Experience across multiple jurisdictions is a plus
