What you will do

• Lead and mentor a global team of attorneys managing commercial contracting activities.
• Oversee the negotiation and execution of SaaS, software licensing, customer, and vendor agreements.
• Provide strategic guidance on high-value, complex commercial transactions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Procurement, Finance, and Product teams to enable growth while mitigating risk.
• Develop and optimize scalable contracting processes, templates, and playbooks.
• Advise on risk management, compliance, and regulatory issues, including GDPR and data protection frameworks.

Requirements

• 15+ years of legal experience focusing on commercial contracting in global software or technology companies.
• Proven track record of managing and developing high-performing legal teams.
• Deep expertise in negotiating complex SaaS transactions with enterprise customers and service providers.
• Strong experience with cross-border commercial agreements and global regulations.
• Deep understanding of data protection and privacy frameworks (e.g., GDPR).
• Must be based in the USA (Burlington, MA) or the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience negotiating agreements with Global Systems Integrators (GSIs) and hyperscalers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience building or scaling global legal or contracting functions.
