Salary: $130,000–$185,000

What you will do

• Drive mechanical improvements from concept through mass production for current generation hardware.
• Lead design and analysis of mechanical solutions to optimize product performance, reliability, and cost.
• Manage engineering change implementation with global vendors and contract manufacturers.
• Define and lead DOE and validation strategies to optimize manufacturing performance.
• Perform root cause investigations to resolve quality, yield, and reliability issues in production.
• Maintain CAD models and technical documentation (3D, 2D, BOMs, ECOs).

Requirements

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sustaining complex mechanical products, preferably in consumer electronics or wearables.
• 4+ years of SolidWorks CAD experience including tolerance analysis and DFx/DfM.
• 3+ years of experience working with Tier 1 and 2 contract manufacturers in Asia and North America.
• Proven experience with high-volume manufacturing processes (injection molding, die casting).
• Ability to travel internationally up to 20% to support production builds.

Nice to have

• Experience with electromechanical systems (sensors, PCBs, flex circuits) in compact products.
• Experience developing automated test systems or production validation infrastructure.
• Background in health-focused or highly constrained consumer electronics.
• Experience in fast-paced startup environments.
