What you will do

• Lead mechanical design concept exploration, trade study analysis, and down-selection processes.
• Execute full-cycle mechanical design from initial prototyping through testing and final delivery.
• Define design approaches for complex problems with minimal guidance.
• Contribute high-quality technical content for reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to solve customer-driven challenges.
• Proactively identify and communicate design risks and needs to project leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field required (Master's preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in mechanical design.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
• Proficiency in CAD software and modeling/simulation tools like MATLAB.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
