Location: Must be based in Ukraine, Cyprus, or Poland; company also maintains hubs in Spain and the UK.

What you will do
- Own and manage the global IP portfolio, including trademarks, copyrights, and patents across US, EU, and UK markets.
- Lead legal reviews for AI-powered features, ensuring compliance with the EU AI Act, GDPR, and US state-level legislation.
- Act as the first responder for IP disputes, assessing cease-and-desist letters and coordinating with external counsel.
- Conduct IP clearance reviews for new product features, creative assets, and marketing campaigns.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, and Growth teams to integrate legal reviews into development workflows.
- Advise on licensing and content partnership agreements involving AI and IP rights.
Requirements
- Qualified lawyer with 5+ years of post-qualification experience in IP and technology law.
- Demonstrable experience in AI governance, specifically regarding EU AI Act risk classification and algorithmic transparency.
- Deep working knowledge of EU and US IP frameworks (trademarks, copyright, trade secrets).
- Proven track record of managing IP disputes and litigation risk.
- Experience working with digital consumer products, such as app-based businesses or health/wellness tech.
- Fluent English proficiency required.
