Client Services Director - Product Engineering

Client Services Director (Product Engineering): Selling engineering design services including Mechanical, Electrical, Design, Embedded, Engineering Analysis, and Technical Publications with an accent on business development and long-term strategic client relationships. Focus on prospecting key market segments, developing value propositions, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to meet sales targets.

Location: Telecommute (remote) with ability to travel 60% or more

Salary: $110K - $130K base + commissions

• Develop leads through listings, contacts, cold calling, and marketing to penetrate key segments.
• Meet clients to understand challenges and align services.
• Develop solutions via consulting sales process with internal teams.
• Formulate value propositions for winning proposals.
• Negotiate and close business to support sales goals.
• Support trade shows, marketing, and maintain sales pipeline in CRM.

Requirements

• 10+ years in business development and sales for engineering design services
• Solution selling experience
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Understanding of engineering disciplines, technical specs, and standards
• Proven track record in sales contracts
• Superb persuasion, communication, writing, and presentation skills
