What you will do
- Own the full SMB member lifecycle, serving as the primary relationship owner for employer accounts from inquiry to renewal.
- Manage inbound SMB leads, guide employers through purchase decisions, and run assisted self-serve onboarding.
- Drive employee activation post-purchase, using data to intervene early and ensure high enrollment rates.
- Qualify opportunities, tailor approaches for self-serve vs. higher-touch accounts, and drive engagement via chat, email, and calls.
- Proactively manage renewals, surface value, flag risks, and secure commitments before they lapse.
- Identify lifecycle friction, build/refine playbooks, track metrics, and partner cross-functionally to improve outcomes.
Requirements
- 3–6 years in SMB acquisition, onboarding, account management, customer success, or support operations in B2B/B2B2C.
- Experience in inbound, product-led, or self-serve motions, owning leads from first touch to conversion.
- Ability to build/improve workflows, playbooks, or onboarding processes.
- Strong written/verbal communication for explaining value and guiding decisions across channels.
- Proven end-to-end conversation ownership, proactive follow-up, and closing.
- Operational instincts to spot inefficiencies; experience with Intercom, Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar.
