Product Modelling Engineer (Semiconductors)

Location: Manchester, United Kingdom; onsite interview required at Stage 3

Develop products and technologies for a global semiconductor manufacturer producing more than 100 billion devices annually.

What you will do

• Develop and validate virtual prototyping methods for advanced power MOSFET platforms.
• Provide simulation support for new silicon technologies.
• Model electrical behaviour and predict technology performance under different operating scenarios.
• Work with international engineering teams to solve physics, electronics, and manufacturing challenges.
• Support internal and external customers through technical problem-solving and training.

Requirements

• Degree-level qualification in electronics, semiconductor physics, mathematics, or a related engineering discipline, including BSc, MSc, MEng, or PhD.
• Previous experience in a similar or relevant field.
• Self-motivated approach and willingness to tackle new technical challenges.

Nice to have

• Circuit simulation or SPICE modelling experience.
• Knowledge of power semiconductor principles.
• Strong mathematical skills for developing new modelling methods.
• Programming experience.
