Location: Hybrid schedule based in South Charlotte, NC Headquarters (Monday through Thursday in office, fully remote on Fridays)
Salary: $110,000 - $140,000 total cash compensation per year

What you will do
- Define and execute account strategies aligned with utility trends, implement planning frameworks, and build strategic roadmaps for measurable outcomes.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of account managers, fostering accountability, inclusion, and talent development.
- Oversee portfolio of strategic utility accounts, drive retention, expansion, and solution evolution through QBRs and partner assessments.
- Own executive-level relationships, act as trusted advisor, and represent the organization in high-level engagements and industry events.
- Lead contract negotiations, identify revenue opportunities, and collaborate cross-functionally with product, sales, and operations.
- Act as culture carrier, reinforcing company values and building an inclusive team environment.
Requirements
- 8+ years in account management, client services, or related roles, with utility sector exposure preferred
- Proven experience managing strategic accounts and leading high-performing teams
- Strong commercial acumen, including contract negotiation and revenue growth strategies
- Demonstrated success influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-functional alignment
- Experience developing account strategies, scaling solutions, and understanding utility operations, regulations, and market dynamics
- Confident communicator able to spot patterns, gain buy-in, and connect initiatives across teams
