What you will do

• Oversee shift operations of the quartz processing facility to ensure efficient raw material processing.
• Monitor and achieve production targets while optimizing operational processes for cost-effectiveness.
• Supervise and direct plant operators, heavy equipment operators, and maintenance staff.
• Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams to manage rail car loading and unloading.
• Implement preventive maintenance schedules and enforce OSHA and safety regulatory requirements.
• Manage raw material inventory levels and utilize barcode scanning systems for tracking.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in facility leadership or processing plant operations (mining or materials processing preferred).
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent related experience.
• Proficiency with Oracle and CMMS systems.
• English proficiency: Ability to read and write in English.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for up to 12 hours per shift.
• Ability to acquire and retain necessary safety certifications.
