What you will do

• Ensure safety and maintain a safe work environment for all employees.
• Facilitate maintenance work requests, determine priorities, and assign tasks.
• Communicate equipment breakdowns and repair timelines to production, management, and quality assurance.
• Confer with vendors, management, engineering, and quality control to resolve issues and improve operations.
• Lead shift meetings to update on breakdowns, repairs, priorities, and training.
• Participate in preventive/predictive maintenance, test equipment, manage inventory, and initiate purchase orders.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED and completion of craft apprenticeship or training program.
• 2-5 years in mechanical maintenance, industrial/manufacturing, and electrical controls experience.
• 1-2 years previous leadership experience with small teams.
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Software and light Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of tools, materials, methods for mechanical maintenance; ability to read schematics (electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic).
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts; lift up to 75 pounds.
