TL;DR
Sales Engineer (Power Distribution): Sell MV/LV switchgear, switchboards, and panelboards through direct channels to electrical contractors and end users with an accent on developing and maintaining key accounts and assembling complete project quotations. Focus on identifying revenue opportunities, negotiating large project orders, and overseeing handovers to execution teams.
Location: San Diego, CA. Office base remote, regional territory.
Salary Range: $220,000 - $240,000 Annually

What you will do
- Develop and execute account plans with Sales Director, building relations with decision-makers and influencers.
- Understand client buying processes, challenges, and requirements to identify revenue opportunities.
- Create proposals using and non- products for complete bills of material.
- Follow client journeys, negotiate deals, and oversee handovers to Platform Execution team.
- Maintain oversight of commercial engagements for customer success and provide forecasting for capacity planning.
- Advocate for client and internally, sharing insights across departments.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years experience selling power distribution equipment (MV/LV switchgear/switchboards); Data Center market experience a plus.
- Proven track record negotiating medium/large project orders and developing/maintaining contractor relationships.
- Experience generating accurate project proposals with MV/LV switchgear and non- products.
- Self-motivated with excellent communication, presentation, and negotiating skills.
- Location: San Diego, CA (office base remote).
