TL;DR

Sales Engineer / Senior Sales Engineer (Energy Storage): Provide technical leadership in sales processes for large-scale energy storage projects with an accent on product configuration, technical specifications, and cost estimates. Focus on negotiating contracts, shaping product roadmaps from customer requirements, and developing sales tools for equipment and turn-key solutions.

Location: Remote (as needed in office) USA-VA-Arlington, USA-GA-Alpharetta, USA-TX-Houston. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. Willing and able to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

What you will do

  • Develop deep understanding of hirify.global energy storage platforms and provide technical support and product configuration guidance to sales teams.
  • Review, understand, and negotiate detailed technical specifications for energy storage core and BOP scope (MV, HV, civil).
  • Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for new sales opportunities.
  • Lead technical aspects of contract negotiations including scope, schedule, and performance guarantees.
  • Assist in developing sales tools and support materials.
  • Capture customer technical requirements to shape product roadmaps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical preferred).
  • 3-10 years’ experience in energy storage, solar, or other power generation.
  • Ability to solve complex technical problems and communicate results effectively.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and familiarity with key contract areas.
  • Knowledge of applicable standards, codes, and regulations.
  • Entrepreneurial drive to prioritize and execute multiple tasks.
  • Willing and able to travel up to 20% of the time.
