Salary: CAD $33.65 - $40.38/hr

What you will do

• Assist in designing and improving manufacturing processes and workflows for new and existing products.
• Support automation and smart manufacturing through data collection, documentation, and system testing.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, R&D, and supply chain on manufacturability and process readiness.
• Participate in kaizen events, data analysis, and basic process changes for continuous improvement.
• Develop work instructions, SOPs, training docs, layout updates, time studies, and material flow analysis.
• Track KPIs like yield, cycle time, scrap; assist with equipment installation and validation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Internship, co-op, or project experience in manufacturing/production preferred.
• Foundational knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
• Familiarity with CAD software and proficiency in Microsoft Excel or data analysis tools.
• Strong problem-solving, willingness to learn, collaborative attitude, and effective communication.
• 100% in-office presence required in Surrey offices.
