Continuous Improvement Engineer (IEM360): Deploying and sustaining enterprise-wide operating system across functions and sites with an accent on Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Growth. Focus on leading kaizen events, building internal capabilities in lean thinking, and driving cultural transformation through standardization, accountability, and data-driven decision-making.

Location: Jacksonville, Florida, United States. Willingness to travel (~25%) across manufacturing locations.

What you will do

  • Lead IEM360 deployment, implementing business system tools and processes across operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions.
  • Plan, lead, and coach cross-functional kaizen events on lean fundamentals, standard work, visual management, flow, and problem-solving.
  • Develop internal capabilities by training and coaching teams in lean thinking, daily management, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Assess business system maturity and execute improvement roadmaps using maturity models, Hoshin Kanri, tiered daily management, and KPI dashboards.
  • Act as change leader for cultural transformation, embedding IEM360 into key processes like policy deployment, S&OP, and operational reviews.
  • Identify, document, and share best practices, benchmarking against external organizations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business, Operations, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
  • 3-5 years in manufacturing, operations, or continuous improvement, preferably multi-site.
  • Deep Lean principles knowledge (5S, value stream mapping, standard work, visual management, PDCA, SMED, A3).
  • Success leading kaizen events and CI initiatives; experience with formal business systems (DBS, CBS) preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, project management, analytical, and communication skills; ops finance understanding.
  • Ability to work independently, influence without authority, travel ~25%.
