What you will do

• Lead the development and implementation of safety policies in compliance with OSHA and local/state regulations.
• Serve as the primary technical resource for EHS concerns and deliver comprehensive training programs.
• Maintain all EHS documentation, including OSHA logs, chemical inventories, and inspection records.
• Conduct safety inspections and post-incident investigations to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Manage facility recycling and waste management programs while supporting corporate sustainability efforts.
• Collaborate with the leadership team to build a proactive safety culture and ensure continuous program improvement.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant EHS experience within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Experience leading a team of direct reports.
• Bachelor’s degree in safety, industrial engineering, or a related field of study.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state regulations (OSHA, RCRA, DOT, DEC).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Nice to have

• Professional EHS certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Industrial Hygienist (CIH).
