Supplier Quality Engineer (Engineering)

Salary: C$ 32.21 - C$ 56.25 per hour

What you will do

• Develop and implement a Vendor Management program and supporting metrics.
• Ensure suppliers maintain all regulations and requirements through regular audits and facility visits.
• Create quality control guidelines and protocols to reduce defect rates across the supply chain.
• Assess vendor products and supplies to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
• Perform risk assessments using PFMEA, Six Sigma, 5S, and Kaizen methodologies.
• Act as a primary liaison between vendors and company leadership to resolve quality challenges.

Requirements

• Diploma in a relevant field with professional work experience.
• 100% in-office presence in Surrey, BC is required; no remote work offered.
• Experience with Infor Syteline ERP systems.
• Strong understanding of Mechanical, Electrical, or Materials Engineering.
• Knowledge of UL, CSA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Experience with FOD Prevention and IPC Standards.
• Certification or practical experience in Six Sigma or Kaizen.
