Component Engineer (Electrical Engineering): Ensuring the quality of electrical, electronic, and electro-mechanical components for complex weapons systems with an accent on electrical component specifications and military standards. Focus on transitioning products from development to production and performing root cause analysis for component failures.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX. Hybrid (Expected in office Tuesday - Thursday). US Citizenship and Active Secret Clearance required.

What you will do

• Ensure the quality of EEE components used in complex weapons systems.
• Evaluate design assurance activities to facilitate the transition of products from development to production.
• Perform electrical component failure analysis and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Action Planning.
• Develop and apply quality test and inspection methods to ensure product integrity.
• Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical performance specifications.
• Analyze and resolve process issues ranging from basic to highly complex.

Requirements

• Active Secret Clearance is required to start.
• US Citizenship is strictly required.
• BS degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent combined education and experience.
• Proven experience in electrical component failure analysis and microelectronics fabrication/test.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and contracts to develop QE processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Access.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Military Standards (202, 883, 750) and MIL-PRF (38534, 38535, 19500, 55342).
• Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification, or ASQ CQE/CQIA certification.
• Experience with SAP applications (e.g., QNOTES).
• Advanced AS9100 interpretation and application skills.
• Experience with Product Development Process (PDP), MRB, and PPAP.
