What you will do

• Perform system analysis using operational criteria and tools like CYME and EMS.
• Develop and direct complex engineering projects and field assignments.
• Coordinate long-term shutdown schedules in collaboration with project schedulers.
• Lead cross-functional team meetings and huddles for complex regional shutdowns.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shutdown processes and resource allocation.
• Propose technical solutions to engineering problems and develop models for improvement programs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology required.
• Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Detroit, MI.

Nice to have

• Master’s Degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience maintaining State Estimator technical applications.
• Familiarity with EMS, including Contingency Analysis (CA) and N-1 operating practices.
• Experience with PSSE or TARA applications.
