What you will do

• Lead product design for manufacturability and develop assembly processes and equipment.
• Develop and execute prototype builds and evaluations for new product concepts.
• Conduct design of experiments (DOE) and utilize FEM for product modeling and evaluation.
• Lead design verification and validation testing.
• Manage the transfer of product designs from R&D to manufacturing.
• Collaborate with physicians to obtain design feedback and guide associate engineers.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• 8+ years of related experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Solidworks 2017 or later.
• Knowledge of GMP, QSR, and ISO certified organization standards.
• Ability to develop Design and Process FMEAs.
• Must be based in Wayne, NJ (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Experience in electrical design and schematics.
• Expertise in materials science and material selection.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
• Prior exposure to clinical practices and products.
