Operations Supervisor (Second Shift) (Manufacturing)

TL;DR

Operations Supervisor (Manufacturing): Overseeing day-to-day execution of production areas including framing, assembly, and integration with an accent on safety, quality, and delivery targets. Focus on managing team performance via KPIs, implementing continuous improvement, and maintaining production flow.

Location: 100% in-office presence in Jacksonville, Florida. Second shift hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm EST.

What you will do

• Lead daily production activities to meet safety, quality, delivery, and efficiency targets.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate Team Leads and Operators to foster accountability and teamwork.
• Monitor performance against KPIs (output, defects, rework) and lead Tier 1 daily management meetings.
• Coordinate with Planning, Materials, Quality, and Maintenance to ensure work center readiness.
• Enforce safety protocols, 5S practices, and operational policy compliance.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for quality or delivery issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or relative experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3-7 years of experience in manufacturing, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience with takt time, standard work, and visual management.
• Proficiency in ERP, Excel, and production dashboards.
• Strong people leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Lean, 5S, and visual factory principles.
• Experience in coaching, performance management, and conflict resolution.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills.
