What you will do

• Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of Production Technicians on a given shift.
• Review production schedules and allocate team members to ensure expectations are met.
• Manage and optimize work processes for conditioning, treating, and packaging operations.
• Monitor product quality and ensure all activities meet the Quality Plan requirements.
• Handle hiring, training, performance management, and rewards recommendations for the team.
• Collaborate with plant personnel and other departments to coordinate workflow and resources.

Requirements

• Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
• Must be based in or able to work 100% on-site in Hedrick, Iowa.
• Valid US Driver’s License.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime, including nights and weekends.
• Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
• Intermediate computer aptitude with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within an operations or warehouse environment.
• Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work.
