What you will do
- Supervise, lead, and coordinate a team of Production Technicians on a given shift.
- Review production schedules and allocate team members to ensure expectations are met.
- Manage and optimize work processes for conditioning, treating, and packaging operations.
- Monitor product quality and ensure all activities meet the Quality Plan requirements.
- Handle hiring, training, performance management, and rewards recommendations for the team.
- Collaborate with plant personnel and other departments to coordinate workflow and resources.
Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
- Must be based in or able to work 100% on-site in Hedrick, Iowa.
- Valid US Driver’s License.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts and overtime, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to climb, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in various indoor/outdoor weather conditions.
- Intermediate computer aptitude with Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within an operations or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge of LEAN Manufacturing principles such as 5S, Continuous Improvement, and Standardized Work.
