Continuous Improvement Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: 100% in-office presence in Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. Remote work is not offered.

What you will do

• Support cross-functional kaizen events focusing on lean fundamentals, visual management, and flow.
• Implement lean tools and processes across operations, supply chain, engineering, and commercial functions.
• Train and coach team members and leaders in lean thinking and daily management practices.
• Create business system maturity assessments and improvement roadmaps.
• Drive standardization, accountability, and data-driven decision-making within teams.
• Identify and document internal best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing or continuous improvement.
• Deep understanding of Lean Principles (5S, VSM, PDCA, SMED, A3).
• Proven success leading cross-functional kaizen events and system-wide CI initiatives.
• Basic knowledge of operations finance, including P&L impact and cost drivers.
• Must be based in or able to work 100% onsite in Surrey, BC.
