Senior Manager, Tax

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada (3 days a week in office)

Salary: $115,000 - 135,000 CAD

What you will do

• Lead global tax function and Tax team with hands-on management
• Oversee compliance filings, tax provisions, sales tax returns, reconciliations, and payments
• Provide tax advisory to business units, manage audits and government correspondence
• Coordinate with external advisors, Legal, M&A, and FP&A on transactions, integrations, and forecasting
• Monitor and report on tax legislation impacting operations

Requirements

• 8-10 years progressive tax experience, ideally public accounting and corporate tax
• CPA designation
• Strong knowledge of Canadian and US taxation
• Experience with international tax, transfer pricing, government grants
• Strong people management, attention to detail, ability to work under pressure
• Excellent proficiency in written and spoken English (fluency required)

Nice to have

• Public company experience with IFRS/SOX
• In-depth Tax course or Masters of Taxation
• Familiarity with European/APAC taxes, Pillar 2
• French proficiency
• NetSuite, TaxPrep, Salesforce, Avalara
