Finance Manager

Location: Hybrid (Bristol, UK)

Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 per annum

What you will do

• Lead month-end processes and produce accurate management accounts with detailed commentary and analysis.
• Manage cashflow forecasting, working capital, and balance sheet integrity.
• Oversee daily finance operations, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and pensions.
• Prepare VAT returns and lead statutory accounts preparation and annual audits.
• Track R&D expenditure, capital investment, and inventory accounting.
• Line manage and mentor a team member while improving reporting efficiency using Xero and Excel.

Requirements

• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification (or equivalent strong professional experience).
• Proven experience owning the full finance cycle and managing financial compliance processes.
• Strong technical proficiency in Excel and accounting software.
• Experience managing audits and strengthening internal financial controls.
• Must be based in or be able to commute to Bristol for hybrid work.
