What you will do

• Lead the team delivering Corporate Function divisional accounts and support the Finance Controller.
• Oversee the robust accounting close process for both month and year-end.
• Validate monthly actuals and ensure the integrity of the income statement, balance sheet, and cashflow.
• Manage liaison with external auditors and the company's outsource provider.
• Provide expert technical financial advice to support informed business decision-making.
• Communicate complex financial matters clearly and concisely to non-finance stakeholders.

Requirements

• Fully qualified CCAB accountant with a sound understanding of financial controls.
• Substantial experience managing, coaching, and mentoring a team within a finance function.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and international financial reporting standards.
• Proven ability to implement new processes and a continuous improvement mindset.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Cardiff office.
