TL;DR

Location: Hybrid role in Cambridge, UK (typically 2-3 days a week in the office)

What you will do
- Own core finance processes, including the month-end close and preparation of P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Lead the preparation of year-end accounts and serve as the primary contact for annual statutory audits.
- Collaborate with external tax advisors to ensure international tax compliance.
- Partner with stakeholders across the business to provide financial context and insight for decision-making.
- Support organizational budgeting and forecasting processes to improve planning and performance.
- Review the work of and support the development of junior members of the finance team.
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proven experience owning month-end processes and financial reporting.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail and a collaborative, thoughtful approach.
- Must be based in or able to work hybridly from Cambridge, UK.
Nice to have
- Experience working with FRS 102.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting, or finance business partnering.
