Legal Counsel (High-Tech/Biotech)

TL;DR

Legal Counsel (High-Tech/Biotech): Provide in-house expertise in corporate, contract, and commercial law for an organization developing disruptive cutting-edge technology with an accent on building legal-corporate infrastructure. Focus on overseeing the legal landscape, interacting with internal and external interfaces, and executing work currently handled by external counsel.

Location: Hybrid/onsite in Herzliya, Israel (general office hours 09:00-18:00, Sundays work from home if position permits)

Established midsized high-tech and bio-tech growing startup located in Herzliya.

What you will do

• Provide in-house execution of corporate, contract, and commercial legal work.
• Oversee the legal landscape of the organization’s activities in high-tech/bio-tech.
• Interact with internal and external company interfaces.
• Build the company’s legal-corporate infrastructure.
• Report to CEO and collaborate with the corporate team.

Requirements

• Prior experience as legal counsel at top 10 law firms in Israel or abroad.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate law in High-Tech industry.
• Experience working with junior/senior partners in relevant law firms preferred.
• English at mother tongue level.
• University degree.
• High personal, professional, and ethical standards; creative/flexible thinking.

Nice to have

• Experience drafting Joint Venture agreements, strategic partnerships, SEC filings.
