What you will do

• Serve as technical lead for AI Foundry, setting standards for code quality, architecture, and delivery while mentoring engineers.
• Design and implement core AI components, services, and integrations including LLM workflows, RAG, summarization, and automation.
• Build shared libraries for prompt patterns, evaluation utilities, and safety layers; own production readiness and observability.
• Partner with product builders and engineering to integrate AI into core platforms and establish quality thresholds.
• Identify reusable investments, evaluate build vs. buy, and translate emerging AI practices into product capabilities.

Requirements

• 10+ years software engineering with principal-level scope and technical leadership
• Hands-on experience delivering AI/ML product features (LLMs or traditional ML) with evaluation and monitoring
• Strong experience in production distributed systems, backend services, RAG/retrieval systems, and system design
• Observability expertise (logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, incident response)
• Clear communication of technical concepts to stakeholders
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience

Nice to have

• Experience in healthcare SaaS environments
• Familiarity with multi-tenant architectures and enterprise access control
• Building internal platforms/tooling for developer experience
