AI Product Owner

Location: Remote - Utah, United States. Relocation assistance is not authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship. New hires starting October 1, 2025 or later must travel to a designated company location for on-site onboarding during their initial days.

Salary: $143,200-$196,900 expected compensation range for US applicants, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Collaborate with product owners, team members, and stakeholders to build medical coding software.
• Translate business requirements for assessing medical chart readiness.
• Lead data scientists and software developers enhancing the chart confidence pipeline.
• Improve client automation through machine learning and AI product enhancements.
• Evaluate recommendations, provide detailed feedback, and assess improvements.
• Report team progress and accomplishments to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher and 7 years of product management experience in a software development environment, or a high school diploma/GED and 14 years of relevant experience.
• 3 years of experience with cloud-hosted applications.
• 3 years of experience in a technical role such as software development, QA, or data science.
• 3 years of experience with machine learning or other AI software products.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
• Remote work is based in Utah, United States; relocation assistance is not authorized.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with medical coding systems such as ICD-10, CPT, or HCPCS.
