What you will do

• Provide strategic direction and leadership for the Design Engineering organization
• Oversee execution of hundreds of concurrent customer projects
• Establish and monitor KPIs for on-time delivery and defect-free designs
• Transform engineering workflows from custom low-fidelity to standardized high-fidelity configure-to-order solutions
• Partner with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Field Service for manufacturable, scalable designs
• Ensure compliance with IEEE/ANSI, UL, CSA, NEC, and IEC standards
• Foster a top talent environment

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related; Master’s or MBA preferred
• Minimum 15 years progressive engineering leadership in power product manufacturing
• Proven track record leading large engineering organizations (100+ engineers) in design-to-order environments
• Deep understanding of electrical switchgear design, power distribution systems, and industry standards
• Experience modernizing design methods/tools and transforming organizations during growth
• Success in operational improvements, reducing design cycle times, with PLM, CAD, and engineering data systems
