Senior Financial Analyst

TL;DR

Senior Financial Analyst: Provide analytical insight to company performance across functions, support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and data modeling for monthly management reporting. Own and maintain the finance forecasting system to enable data-based decision-making. Focus on designing detailed financial models, leading monthly close processes, and communicating key performance metrics to senior management.

Location: Remote (US-based, must work Pacific Time Zone hours)

Salary: $105,000-$120,000

What you will do

• Design and refine financial models to forecast functional costs, understand variances, and improve accuracy
• Lead monthly close processes from FP&A perspective, owning corporate calendar and forecast templates
• Own and maintain Adaptive forecasting system for accuracy
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting, analyze results, and communicate key messages to senior management
• Identify, measure, and communicate key performance metrics
• Build relationships with cross-functional teams to integrate updates on variances
• Provide ad hoc reporting to executive management and drive process improvements

Requirements

• Must be able to work Pacific Time Zone hours
• Workday Adaptive experience required, preferably in admin capacity
• Experience in financial modeling
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented self-starter
• Strong analytical focus with business modeling and forecasting experience

Nice to have

• Salesforce, NetSuite, and Power BI experience
