What you will do

• Sell advertising slots for tournament broadcasts and develop tailored sponsorship packages for brand partners.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and proposal design to contract signature and fulfillment.
• Design and promote subscription packages for live and on-demand tournament content to grow the subscriber base.
• Identify and develop B2B subscription opportunities with hospitality, sports bars, and corporate clients.
• Maintain long-term relationships with media agencies, brands, and industry stakeholders.
• Collaborate with production, marketing, and editorial teams to ensure the delivery of commercial inventory.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of proven experience in media sales with a track record of hitting revenue targets.
• Demonstrated ability to sell advertising or sponsorship within broadcast and/or digital media environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel within South Africa.
• Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating and closing complex deals.
• Proficiency with CRM tools and Microsoft Office / Google Suite.

Nice to have

• Experience in sports media sales, including broadcast rights and stadium advertising.
• Familiarity with subscription-based or OTT platform sales and marketing.
• Existing professional network within the South African media, agency, or sports industry.
