TL;DR

Senior Business Development & Account Executive (Logistics): Driving growth through strategic account management and new business development for technology solutions in logistics, distribution, and transportation with an accent on in-person engagement and territory management. Focus on bridging the gap between technical solutions and business value to secure long-term client partnerships.

Location: Remote (East Coast). Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone (preferably NJ, NY, VA)

What you will do

  • Drive in-person engagement by meeting prospects and clients and attending industry events to build face-to-face relationships.
  • Strategically plan and execute territory management across the East Coast, with planned expansion to the Midwest.
  • Develop and execute strategies to expand the footprint within existing accounts and build a robust pipeline of new business.
  • Own the entire client journey from initial engagement through ongoing account management.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to translate client needs into actionable solutions while maintaining focus on business value.
  • Represent the company at industry events and help shape the go-to-market strategy and product development insights.

Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of experience in B2B technology sales or account management.
  • 3+ years of experience selling specifically to logistics, transportation, or warehousing sectors.
  • Must be based in the Eastern Time Zone (preferably NJ, NY, VA or surrounding states).
  • Ability to travel 40-50% to client sites across the East Coast and Midwest.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel independently.
  • Proven track record of territory management, field sales success, and managing complex multi-stakeholder sales cycles.

Nice to have

  • Familiarity with supply chain technologies such as WMS or TMS.
  • Deep understanding of logistics and warehousing operations.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and digital transformation initiatives.
