What you will do

• Design and implement end-to-end hiring processes, from job posting to onboarding.
• Establish and manage HR systems, policies, and employee lifecycle management.
• Automate operational workflows and technical processes to maximize efficiency.
• Coordinate and execute company expansion planning.
• Manage general startup operations to enable the team to focus on AI safety research.

Requirements

• Proven operations or management experience, preferably in tech startup environments.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Experience building processes from scratch in fast-growing companies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in-person at the San Francisco office.

Nice to have

• Experience managing hiring and HR operations at early-stage startups.
• Familiarity with AI Safety, AI alignment, or LLM evaluation frameworks.
• Ability to use and deploy latest AI tools for operational efficiency.
• Experience in fullstack LLM deployment for agentic AI evaluations.
