What you will do

• Support the Compliance Management System (CMS) for embedded payments, focusing on governance and operational execution.
• Monitor payment activity across rails for ACH returns, transaction anomalies, and potential fraud.
• Manage daily payment operations workflows, including exception handling and returns management.
• Coordinate with sponsor banks and resolve L2/L3 customer complaints in collaboration with support teams.
• Ensure adherence to NACHA Operating Rules, Reg E, BSA/AML requirements, and internal controls.
• Analyze operational data to identify failure points and partner with Product and Engineering to automate manual workflows.

Requirements

• 3-4 years of experience in payment, compliance, or risk operations, preferably in fintech or banking.
• Direct experience with sponsor bank programs or embedded payments.
• Familiarity with major payment rails, including ACH, wire, and instant payments.
• Working knowledge of NACHA Operating Rules, ACH return processes, and return-rate risk management.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in real estate, proptech, or vertical SaaS.
• Exposure to audits, bank exams, or sponsor-bank oversight processes.
