Solution Architect (Cloud/AI)

Location: Germany, with options in Berlin, Stuttgart, or remote within Germany; at least one year of onsite work in Germany is required.

What you will do

• Design scalable cloud architectures for digital products, data platforms, and AI-driven solutions across GCP, AWS, and Azure.
• Define end-to-end architectures spanning data, services, APIs, and AI workflows.
• Design interfaces, integration patterns, and strategies for enterprise systems such as SAP, CDP, CMS, and DAM platforms.
• Establish security concepts, operating models, architectural guardrails, and decisions covering compute, storage, messaging, identity, observability, and deployment.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, business, and client stakeholders to create target architectures and reduce technical complexity.
• Contribute to RFPs, pitches, technology adoption strategies, and improvements in cost, performance, and maintainability.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in system architecture, cloud, data, and APIs, including experience as a Solution Architect or comparable technical leader.
• Strong expertise in GCP and AWS, with a deep understanding of platform design and modular architectures.
• Experience integrating complex enterprise systems and applying security, data modeling, and performance optimization practices.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and infrastructure as code using Terraform or ARM.
• Experience making Buy vs. Build decisions and advising senior stakeholders in client-facing settings.
• Very good German and English at C1+ level, a German work permit, and at least one year of onsite work experience in Germany are required.
