What you will do

  • Identify, qualify, and close new government clients within the assigned region.
  • Manage the end-to-end renewal process to maintain high logo retention across the portfolio.
  • Drive account growth by identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities through consultative conversations.
  • Establish trusted partnerships with council CEOs, directors, and senior decision-makers.
  • Develop compelling proposals and manage government procurement processes, including tenders and panels.
  • Maintain CRM records in HubSpot and report on pipeline, forecast, and account health.

Requirements

  • Strong experience in B2B sales or account management, ideally within SaaS, data, or analytics.
  • Proven track record of hitting or exceeding targets for new business and retention.
  • Experience selling to government entities (local, state, or federal) or a deep understanding of government procurement.
  • Ability to manage a large account portfolio while simultaneously building a new pipeline.
  • Commercial acumen for negotiating contracts and managing complex stakeholder relationships.
  • Proficiency with CRM discipline, specifically HubSpot.
