What you will do

• Lead end-to-end audio and AV delivery for live corporate events and broadcast productions, including setup, rehearsals, and execution.
• Manage full audio signal flow, including microphones, consoles, and wireless RF coordination, performing real-time root-cause analysis.
• Plan and execute technical rehearsals and align event design with customer requirements.
• Coordinate vendor estimates, labor, and technical resource scheduling to ensure adequate event support.
• Research and propose technology innovations to optimize audio, video, lighting, and staging integration.
• Create technical documentation (runbooks, signal-flow diagrams) and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• 3+ years of event production experience with a strong focus on live audio and broadcast environments.
• Proficiency with audio consoles (e.g., Allen & Heath, Yamaha) and RF systems.
• Experience with video conferencing systems and live streaming workflows.
• Knowledge of core IT disciplines (hardware, software, networking) for end-to-end troubleshooting.
• Professionalism and discretion when working directly with executives and senior stakeholders.
• Location: Position is based in Austin, Texas

Nice to have

• Experience with sound system design tools (Soundvision, EASE) and networked audio (Dante, Q-SYS).
• Proficiency in 3D design tools like SketchUp or Vectorworks.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, AV over IP).
• Experience with lighting systems, DMX control, and post-production workflows.
• Industry certifications such as CTS, Dante Level 1, CCNA, or ITIL Foundation.
• Experience supporting macOS and Apple hardware in enterprise environments.
