Data Engineer (Scala)

What you will do

• Develop access and update services for parameter reference repositories used by pricing environments.
• Implement audit and historical tracking for repository changes.
• Maintain production quality through procedures, impact analysis, test coverage, and business validation.
• Proactively manage application and infrastructure incidents using established action plans.
• Manage technical debt and drive remediation and continuous improvement with business partners.

Requirements

• High proficiency with Scala, Spark, Hadoop, and Hive.
• Experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, APIs, and microservices.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL technologies.
• Experience with Kafka and the Hadoop platform.
• Familiarity with Visual Studio, Git, and Jenkins.
• Fluent English in written and spoken communication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
