Data Engineer (French Speaker)

Location: Hybrid in Porto or Lisbon, 2 days per week. Candidates must already be based in Portugal and have Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, joins, stored procedures, and database solutions.
• Design data models and data warehouses using the Kimball methodology.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines with Stambia, Talend, Informatica, SSIS, Data Factory, or dbt.
• Bridge communication between non-technical business users and developers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Data Analyst, Analytics Engineer, or BI Developer roles.
• Advanced SQL skills, including complex queries, joins, optimization, and stored procedures.
• Experience with data modelling and data warehouse design using the Kimball methodology.
• ETL experience with Stambia, Talend, Informatica, SQL Server Integration Services, Azure Data Factory, or dbt.
• Ability to communicate between non-technical business users and developers.
• Fluency in English at B1 level.
• Fluency in French at B2 level.
• Availability for hybrid work in Porto or Lisbon, 2 days per week, with residence in Portugal and Portuguese or EU citizenship or a valid work permit.

• Power BI with DAX and Power Query/M.
