SAP Datasphere Developer

Location: Lisbon, Portugal. Remote work from anywhere in Japan may be available if the client project allows; working location may also be a temporary office, client, or project site, with up to 25 days of flexibility to work from a preferred global location subject to client permission.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP Datasphere data models, views, analytical datasets, and semantic models.
• Build and optimize graphical views, SQL views, analytical models, data transformations, data flows, and replication flows.
• Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and other SAP and non-SAP data sources.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data solutions with solution architects, functional consultants, and business stakeholders.
• Optimize data models, queries, and processing workflows for performance, scalability, reliability, and data quality.
• Support troubleshooting, testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing enhancements.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere, including data modeling, development, and integration.
• Experience developing graphical views, SQL views, analytical models, and data transformations in SAP Datasphere.
• Solid understanding of SAP Datasphere Data Builder, Business Builder, and semantic modeling concepts.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, SAP HANA, and relational data modeling principles.
• Experience with data replication, virtualization, transformation, data warehousing, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, and their integration with SAP Datasphere.
• Understanding of enterprise data architectures.
• Experience troubleshooting data processing issues, optimizing query performance, and ensuring data quality.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to collaborate with technical and functional teams.
